Invited Hive Fleets
By: Leech
Hello bug friends, after I converted some Termagants for my Hive fleet some folks at forums asked me if this convo was complicated to do… well not only its as simple as it can get but I also decided to make a little Tutorial just to help out beginners,
to flesh some symbiotic borers on their Termagants.
Things you will need
1- Greenstuff
2- Plastic Glue
3- A GW Termagant with fleshborer and glands
4- A Genestealer arm and a Ripper
5- Hobby Xacto
6- Pin vice
7- Clayshapper
8- Modeling pointy tool
9- Be careful with hot and sharp tools
Reshaping Tail
- With boiling water or in my case a lighter you should warm up the tail and bend it to your desired shape… Don’t bend too much and imagine a lizard tail and how naturally it moves.
Shave that carapace
1- Glue both body parts
2- Cut in a angle the carapace
3- Shave and clean the cut
Glands
- Just cut an adrenal gland bit in two and glue it to sides of the borer.
Borer Love
1- Cut the mag and arm from the borer
2- You can put the mag on bitz your box
3- Drill a hole on the borer tip
4- Use Xacto to make a random wider hole
5- Glue the borer on the back of Termagant
Rippa
1- Cut ripper in 3 pieces
2- Tail and legs to the bitz box
3- I sometimes clean the sharp messy parts
with a lighter, since it melts ugly parts
4- Cut neck tip from the body
5- When attaching the head remember that every creature has dynamic imaginary line that starts
on the tail and ends on the head…
Be extra careful planning that.
