Scorpion lord

The Scorpionlord is a cousin of the Broodlord. It's capabilities have been altered by Scorpio DNA. The Scorpionlord is noted as being more heavily armoured and both stronger and faster than typical Broodlords. The arms have mutated considerably from the original design. The central finger and the thumb have both elongated, repositioned and grown to from a large pincer. These pincers are ideal for crushing and slicing as well as having a high level of accuracy.
 
The body and head have grown considerable amounts of additional chitin and the Scorpionlord has compensated to deal with the extra weight of it's new armour by growing stronger musculature.
 
The Scorpionlord is also highly poisonous. The arms incorporate venom glands which deliver corrosive acids to anything that shows resistance. The tail contains the Scorpionlord's most deadly venom.
The poison used can kill a Space marine in less than five seconds and any target not killed will be severely weakened, leaving them an easy target for the tail's owner.
 
The Scorpionlord itself is highly intelligent. It usually works to lead broods of Genestealers to sabotage and undermine resistance to the Hive. The Scorpionlord is noted for it's patience and is highly effective and rooting out stealthy prey.
