Hormagaunt Spider brood isn’t especially resistant and not very intelligent but their amazing speed gathered from primitive spider DNA and mixed with modern jumping spiders gives this brood raw ferocity allied with high speed and leaping.
Their shortcomings are more than compensated by their large numbers.
